About me

My name is Shakti Shunmugam, former Miss S British Columbia World’19 & Top 15 Miss World Canada’19.
With my platform being to empower underprivileged children and women, I travelled the world working with NGOs and Non profits, and hosted events to help support child education in the fight to end child trafficking.
Because of covid this has been put on hold.

Currently, I am a mama to be (baby boy due October) and a woman who has lived with being diagnosed with PCOS. This makes my pregnancy high risk and made conceiving next to impossible. At 16 I was diagnosed with PCOS, but despite what doctors told me or prescribed to me, at the age of 20 thoroughly researched what would be best for my body to be healthy. I haven’t take any pills/meds since then and would love to continue to empower women struggling with the same, to help them with their health and lifestyle and share my pregnancy and motherhood journey.

I love to travel, surf, snowboard, explore, experience culture, and go on adventures! My Instagram is full of my lifestyle but also several brands that I have worked with!
